Photo album thief locked up

Luwero District Court Grade 11 magistrate, Deborah Wanume on Dec.11 sentenced Mulindwa Moses, 18, of Kiwanula village Kakooge sub-county in Buruli to 3 years imprisonment for stealing a photo album among other things.

Prosecutions led by Chris Gandi alleged that the accused broke into the house of Mzee Mariam Nanteza and stole a photo album, three gomesi wrappers, 4 plastic plates and a blanket.

Mulindwa pleaded guilty but the prosecutor advised the magistrate to show no mercy to such a youthful man who decided to rob an aged woman of 50 years.

He was locked up in Butuntumula prison. He will get six whips of the cane and refund Shs 200,000 to Nanteza within one month after his release.
