Court conviction from the Sandy Point Magistrate Court

A 17-year-old Juvenile of Back Way, Sandy Point was convicted for the offence of House Breaking and Larceny and sentenced to (200) two hundred hours community service, on 18 July 2006 disobeyed the court order and was taken back to the court on 1 August.

He was sentenced to eight (8) strokes which were later administered.

At the Basseterre Juvenile Court sitting on 21st August 2006 the following convictions were heard:

"A (14) fourteen-year-old male juvenile of Market Street, Basseterre who was charged with the offence of "Receiving stolen goods" committed on 28th May 2006 was convicted and placed on probation for a period of twelve (12) months in the sum of $500.00, to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. He is also to maintain a 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. curfew, attend school and is not to be found in the company of undesirables or in default he will receive ten (10) strokes.
