Cambodia (Kampuchea) - Caning of soldiers
This one-minute video clip from 2015 shows four soldiers adopting a Korean-style push-up position to be disciplined across the backside with a long rigid stick, possibly a broom handle, which is being wielded in both hands like a golf club. Only the first two canings are seen (two strokes and four strokes respectively). The punishment is taking place out in the countryside as other military personnel are seen passing to and fro, taking no notice; this suggests that, whether "official" or not, the procedure is quite normal.
